Governor Obaseki announces N70000 new minimum wage for workers

The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has approved a new minimum wage of N70,000 for civil servants in the state. 

 

The governor made the announcement while commissioning the new Labour House in Edo state today April 29.

 

According to him, the new wage comes into effect on May 1st, 2024. He also announced that the new Labour house will be named after a former governor of the state, Adams Oshiomhole.
