Ying Yang Twins share advice for up-and-coming artists as they perform The Millennium Tour

The Ying Yang Twins brought their high-energy show to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center for The Millennium Tour, joining some of hip-hop’s biggest 2000s stars, including Omarion, Trey Songz, Bow Wow, Lloyd, Plies, Nivea and RSVP—Ray J, Sammie, Bobby Valentino and Pleasure P.

Kaine, 46, and D-Roc, 46, of the Atlanta-based hip-hop duo Ying Yang Twins spoke exclusively with DailyMail.com before taking the stage at the sold-out Brooklyn venue on March 21.

“Go hard or go home. And that’s what we come to do. We come to go hard,” D-Roc said, describing the duo’s approach to performing on the 26-city tour.

“We always have fun performing with each other because we never stop. We’ve been on the road since forever. Ying Yang [has] been forever.”

As they reflected on connecting with generations of fans, the longtime performers said they were struck by how meaningful it is to “still be relevant.”

“To still be relevant to people who didn’t know you at the time when they were growing up and when they were little, and now they’re grown and they want to be a fan, it makes it beautiful,” D-Roc said.

Kaine added, “Wake up and get to work.”

The Ying Yang Twins were among the first acts to perform—and their explosive energy immediately set the tone for the night.

They launched the party with fan favorites including “Salt Shaker,” “Ms. New Booty” and “Get Low,” the club hit by Lil Jon and The East Side Boyz.

The evening also featured guest performances from Rick Ross, along with surprise appearances by Remy Ma and Connie Diiamond. Fans erupted for sets by Plies and Bow Wow.
