A woman has died and 10 other people have been injured in a horror three-car crash in Brisbane’s north.
Emergency services rushed to Gympie Arterial Road in Bald Hills, the northernmost suburb Brisbane, at about 9.40pm on Sunday following reports of a serious crash.
Police believe a Hyundai Imax and Honda Odyssey were stationary in the shoulder of the right lane when a Toyota Hiace van crashed into the vehicles from behind.
The woman, who was a passenger in the Honda Odyssey, died at scene.
Ten other people were rushed to hospital for treatment, including three men – two of whom suffered severe head injuries – who are fighting for their lives in hospital.
The other four women and three men were taken to various hospitals in a stable condition.
