Anne Burrell's husband found chef cold, unconscious on shower floor: report

Anne Burrell’s husband Stuart Claxton reportedly found the chef unconscious on the shower floor Tuesday morning, and called first responders before she was pronounced dead.

Law enforcement sources claimed Claxton had last seen the “Worst Cooks in America” host alive at 1 a.m. the night before he discovered her body in their Brooklyn, NY, home around 7:50 a.m., reports TMZ.

Claxton proceeded to call 911 and was allegedly advised to perform CPR on the Food Network star.

However, her body was cold by that time and it remains unclear as to whether the life-saving measure was performed.

“Anne brought joy, boldness, and an unwavering ‘yes, and’ spirit. Her enthusiasm was contagious, her presence unforgettable. Our thoughts go out to Anne’s family and loved ones.”

Similar sentiments about the star were also expressed in the many tributes from other Food Network stars with ties to the late star.
