Shoppers have discovered a little-known warehouse selling grocery items for just 99 cents – including fresh produce, pantry staples and essentials.

Amy Coulston visited a Fresh & Save Warehouse in Beerwah, a rural town in the hinterland of Sunshine Coast, during one of its 99-cent sale weeks.

Australian-owned and operated, the food warehouse helps customers save on groceries by offering popular supermarket brands and fresh local produce at low prices, with shelves stacked high at nine locations across NSW and Queensland.

Every store has an on-site bakery and butchery so customers get fresh ingredients without breaking the bank.

‘It’s definitely a little hidden gem,’ Amy told FEMAIL.

‘I generally shop monthly at Woolies and will only go to Fresh & Save on the sale weeks, so it’s more of a bonus when the sales are on. They do a $2 week and $5 week, along with the 99-cent weeks every few months.’

Amy said some of her favourite bargain finds include two pasta packs for 99 cents, as well as chips and pantry staples.

‘The two for 99c pasta is a pretty awesome deal, and the 99c bags of chips, which are often five times more expensive elsewhere. A lot of the pantry staples are great for stocking up too,’ she explained.

Amy shared a video of her recent shopping experience at Fresh & Save.

‘It’s 99-cent week at Fresh & Save in Beerwah. This store was full of 99-cent groceries,’ she said in her video.

For just 99 cents, she found ‘great’ snacks – including Pringles, Cadbury, Twisties, Cocobella yoghurt, biscuits, and more.

‘A lot of the snacks I bought have a year left on the expiry – completely fine,’ she said.

In the fresh produce aisles, there are sausages for 99 cents, as well as great 99c deals on avocados, potatoes, pumpkins, watermelons, carrots and kiwis.

At just 99 cents each, items perfect for stocking up include gravy mixes, instant noodles, jars of minced garlic, flour, raw and white sugar, toothpastes, dishwashing liquid, and even cat and dog food.

‘There’s so many deals, it’s actually crazy,’ Amy said.

‘Each store has different deals – they’re so good. Definitely go check out Fresh & Save if you haven’t already.

‘There’s so much hidden things around the store so definitely check all the different aisles, you’ll never know what you’re going to find in there.’
