Weave, a Resorts World Sentosa’s (RWS) mall, has opened its doors on Jul. 1.

The three-storey 20,000 sq m development has close to 40 tenants, but not all have started operations.

Some F&B have opened

It is touted by the integrated resort as a lifestyle and community enclave.

Half a dozen food and beverage operators have opened for business, including Taiwanese restaurant Din Tai Fung and Chinese tea chain Chagee.

The others will open in the third quarter of 2025, which include two F&B concepts by Michelin-starred French chef Paul Pairet: French bistro Moutarde and ice-cream parlour Sundae Royale.

Famous pasty chef Pierre Herme will also open his first Singapore outlet at Weave on Aug. 1.

The store will be two storeys.

Local brands, such as traditional snack shop Old Seng Choong, will open its first open-concept bakery later in 2025.

Kidswear label Le Petit Society and an Adidas flagship outlet will also open its doors soon.

Took over The Forum

The mall will be situated next to Universal Studios Singapore and Singapore Oceanarium.

It took over The Forum, which was the space occupied by RWS’ original shopping area.

Weave was designed by international architectural firm Benoy and landscape architects from local landscaping firm ICN Design.

It incorporates sustainable infrastructure with green walls and shrubbery-lined walkways, with heat-deflecting material.

Weave will also utilise the cold water by-product generated by the hot water usage in RWS’ hotels to cool the air piped into the mall.

Part of larger development

Weave is part of a larger development plan at RWS.

In November 2024, RWS’ holding company, Genting Singapore, held a ground-breaking ceremony for an waterfront development at RWS.

The S$6.8 billion project to be completed by 2030 adds more than 164,000 sq m to RWS.

A Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios Singapore, an 88m-high experiential “mountain trail”, and two more hotels with 700 rooms in total are part of the development.
