Liverpool will pay the remainder of Diogo Jota’s contract to his family following his tragic death aged 28, as reported by Record.
Jota and his brother Andre passed away in the early hours of Thursday morning following a car crash in Spain.
Portugal international Jota had two years remaining on his contract at Liverpool, which he signed in 2022.
His death came just two weeks after his marriage to his childhood sweetheart Rute Cardoso, with the couple having three children together.
