Netflix’s The Sandman is a huge hit on the global streaming charts, despite the huge controversy surrounding the show’s original author and executive producer, Neil Gaiman. The Sandman is based on a DC comic series of the same name which was written by Neil Gaiman. He worked as an executive producer for the series until Gaiman was accused of sexual assault.
In spite of that controversy, Netflix revealed that The Sandman season 2 is its second most-watched English-language show worldwide from June 30 to July 6. The Sandman season 2 was beaten only by The Waterfront, which has dominated the streamer’s global charts for weeks.
