Tottenham have completed the £55million signing of Mohammed Kudus from West Ham.

The Ghana international has penned a long-term contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and becomes the club’s first major signing under new head coach Thomas Frank.

The 24-year-old, who Frank identified as his top target this summer, completed his medical at Spurs ahead of the announcement on Thursday night.

Spurs teased the reveal by posting a picture of a stool – often used by the winger during goal celebrations – before showing off their new signing in a snazzy video cut to the a song from Ghanian musician Stonebwoy.

Kudus, who joined West Ham from Ajax for £38m two years ago, scored five goals in the Premier League last season.

In total for the Hammers, he scored 19 goals in 80 appearances. Upon the announcement of his move, West Ham thanked the winger for his services to the side and wished him well for the future.
