Colin Jost has officially broken his silence on wife Scarlett Johansson kissing her co–star Jonathan Bailey on the red carpet on multiple occasions.
Scarlett, 40, has set the internet alight in recent weeks after she first locked lips with Jonathan, 37, in front of photographers at the London premiere of their film, Jurassic World: Rebirth, on June 17.
The friends, who star alongside each other in the latest movie in the popular franchise, kissed again at the New York premiere just a few days later on June 23.
Reacting to the smooches, Colin playfully joked that he needs to get a slice of the action with Jonathan, but added that he doesn’t see the Bridgerton actor, who is openly gay, as a threat.
‘Jonathan and I, at the [‘Jurassic World Rebirth’] red carpet, we were like, “I guess we have to kiss now? Is that what happens?”‘ the Saturday Night Live star, 43, said.
‘I guess in Jurassic Park terms, the attack always comes from the raptor you never thought was there. Of all the threats out there, I wasn’t thinking it was Jonathan.’
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Colin added that he wasn’t worried about his marriage to Scarlett given Jonathan’s sexuality.
‘I think it’s going to be okay,’ he said.

The fifteen–time Emmy nominee originally began dating former child star Scarlett in May 2017 after she hosted the NBC sketch show for the fifth time.
Colin and Scarlett got engaged two years later and wed sometime in October 2020 at their New York home.
Together, the couple are parents to three–year–old son, Cosmo, as well as Scarlett’s 10–year–old daughter, Rose, whom she shares with Romain.
Scarlett’s co–star Jonathan was previously asked about the PDA.
‘I believe in being able to show love in all different ways,’ he told ET. ‘And if you can’t kiss your friends… life’s too short not to.’
Jurassic Park Rebirth – which also stars Mahershala Ali, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia–Rulfo, and Luna Blaise – hit theaters on July 2.
In the film, which is the seventh movie in the franchise, Scarlett plays the lead: covert operation expert, Zora Bennett.
Scarlett — who previously admitted it was her ‘childhood dream’ to star in a Jurassic Park movie — protects her teammates on their life–threatening mission to obtain the DNA of the most ferocious beasts at the site of the now–destroyed research facility for the original Jurassic Park.

The synopsis reads: ‘Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs.
‘Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived.’
Last year, Scarlett told ComicBook.com that the ‘script is so incredible’ and gushed about how David Koepp wrote it.
The film is set several years after the 2022 film Jurassic World Dominion, which starred Bryce Dallas Howard alongside Chris Pratt, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill, and more.
