After bombing at the box office, one of the most recent releases from star Pedro Pascal has arrived on streaming sooner than expected. Pascal stars alongside Joaquin Phoenix (Joker: Folie á Deux) and Emma Stone (Poor Things) in Eddington, the contemporary Western following a standoff between a small-town sheriff and the mayor that sparks a shocking conflict in the small town of Eddington, New Mexico. After grossing only $11 million at the box office against a $25 million budget, A24 has rushed Eddington onto digital platforms, where the film is now available to watch on Prime Video, Fandango at Home, and Apple TV+. Eddington was written and directed by Ari Aster, and it earned mediocre scores of 68% from critics and 64% from audiences on the world’s leading aggregator site, Rotten Tomatoes.
