Taylor Swift and Blake Lively war hits new low: Blake KNOWS she isn’t invited to wedding but insists she doesn’t care… and is serving up ice cold revenge

Taylor Swift’s announcement of her engagement to Travis Kelce on Tuesday was met with a torrent of public well wishes from her A-list pals.

Supermodels Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne were among the first to show their support.

Even former friend Karlie Kloss found it within herself to like the singer’s Instagram post marking the proposal. 

But one person was notably absent.

Blake Lively, Swift’s one-time BBF and to whose daughters Swift is godmother.

The pair saw their decade-long friendship spectacularly collapse earlier this year, after Swift, 35, was unwillingly dragged into Lively’s ugly legal battle with actor Justin Baldoni.

Now, an insider reveals that Lively, 38, has finally accepted that the relationship is over – at least for a while.

Back in June, a source told the Daily Mail that Swift had been ghosting Lively’s repeat attempts to ‘reach out’ with ‘texts, voicemails and even emails begging to mend what they once had’.

Now, Lively has given up trying.

‘Blake didn’t reach out [following the engagement announcement] and isn’t going to,’ an inside source told the Mail, adding: ‘This isn’t the time.’

‘What would be the point of reaching out now?’ the source said. ‘It really makes no sense. [Lively] has bigger fish to fry.’

Brutally, the actress apparently now ‘doesn’t talk about Taylor at all’ and doesn’t find it helpful to think about what could have been. 

‘This is something that we would’ve talked about in the past, like what was going to happen, if she was going to be in the wedding, what that would look like. All of that. But now, it’s just silence,’ the source said. ‘There’s no “will she or won’t she” about Blake being in the wedding, because she just won’t. She knows that, and I don’t think she particularly wants to talk about that.’

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Lively for comment.

It hasn’t been lost on some that Lively’s 38th birthday fell on Monday – the day before Swift’s big announcement. 

But our source says that wasn’t a concern for Lively, who certainly isn’t ‘sitting home obsessing about Taylor getting engaged’ because ‘she’s got her own life to focus on.’

Indeed, her legal battle with Baldoni shows little sign of cooling. 

On the day of Swift’s engagement, newly unsealed court documents showed Lively claiming, during a deposition last month, that an alleged ‘smear campaign’ waged by Baldoni left her ‘terrified’ for her life.

Baldoni denies her claims.
