A TV reporter who garnered national attention after being sexually assaulted live on air has suddenly left her role.
ABC 13’s Alex Bozarjian is no longer with the Houston station after joining in 2023, Chron reported.
No announcement was made about Bozarjian’s departure, and her reporter bio has been removed from the outlet’s ‘News Team’ page.
Bozarjian made headlines in 2019 after a runner participating in a race she was covering in Savannah, Georgia slapped her on the backside as he was passing by.
The journalist, who was 23 at the time, posted the clip online with a caption ripping her offender.
‘To the man who smacked my butt on live TV this morning. You violated, objectified, and embarrassed me,’ she wrote.
‘No woman should EVER have to put up with this at work or anywhere!! Do better.’
The video, which was viewed millions of times, prompted outraged online sleuths to track the runner down.

Married youth pastor Thomas Callaway, 43, was later arrested for misdemeanor sexual battery.
Callaway appeared on the Georgia outlet’s station to address his actions, apologizing for getting ‘caught up in the moment.’
He plead guilty to the sexual battery charge, and was sentenced a year probation and fined $1,000 by a Savannah judge.
Bozarjian received an overwhelming amount of support on social media, as well as some backlash, with some blaming the news anchor for putting herself ‘in the line of fire.’
She shared with CBS This Morning that her story brought awareness to sexual harassment against women in the workplace.
‘I think what is most important here is that he took my power and I’m trying to take that back,’ she said.

Her departure is among several exits from ABC 13 in recent months, Chron reported.
