Jennifer Aniston shocked after learning Reese Witherspoon's real name

Jennifer Aniston was stunned to find out she’d never known Reese Witherspoon’s real name — even after decades of friendship.

The pair recently tested their 25-year friendship in a lively round of “Do You Even Know Me?” for LADBible, with Witherspoon asking her “Morning Show” co-star to guess her real middle name — Jane, Jeanne or Joan.

Aniston guessed Jane before Witherspoon revealed, “It’s Jeanne,” adding, “That’s confusing. I’m Laura Jeanne.”

During a round of “Do You Even Know Me” for LADBible, Aniston discovered Witherspoon’s full name is Laura Jeanne Reese.

The stunned “Friends” star, 56, repeated incredulously, “Laura Jeanne?” as Witherspoon replied, “That’s my real name.”

Still wide-eyed, Aniston doubled down on her shock. “Who’s Laura? Who the hell’s Laura?” she hilariously marveled. “Wait, Laura Jeanne? I’m not calling you that from now on. ‘Come on, Laura Jeanne.’”

Aniston then asked, “Where did Reese come from?” Witherspoon confirmed Reese is actually her middle name.

“Who the hell’s Laura?” an incredulous Aniston asked.

“Oh, like Norma Jean?” Aniston quipped. “Yeah, I’m Laura Jeanne Reese,” the “Big Little Lies” star answered.

The mom of three also divulged that though her given name is Laura Jeanne Reese, she’s always gone by Reese — even before her acting career began.

During the spirited back-and-forth, Witherspoon then asked Aniston’s middle name — which, she replied, is “Joanna.”

“Jennifer Joanna,” Witherspoon said. “J.J. Does anybody call you J.J.? Well I do now.”

The iconic actresses met back in 2000, when Witherspoon, 49, guest starred as Jill Greene, Rachel Greene’s little sister, on “Friends.”

During a joint December 2023 interview, the pair gushed over the longtime bond they’ve shared since working together on the hit NBC sitcom.

“We’ve been in each other’s lives for 20-something years,” Aniston told Variety at the time. “It’s just in our DNA that we are collaborators. We’re partners. We’re friends. We’re girlfriends. We share all sorts of heartbreaks in life and love and everything.”

Witherspoon added, “There’s a comfort to that. It’s just mutual respect and years of experience. And I think we’re both incredulous that we’re both still kicking around!”
