Charlize Theron was spotted ignoring her former co-star Johnny Depp at the Dior Paris Fashion Week show on Thursday.
The actress, 50, worked with Johnny on 1999 film The Astronaut’s Wife, however they have not been professionally linked since then.
Seemingly they have not kept a personal relationship since their joint project either, judging by Charlize’s response to Johnny at the fashion event.
Johnny is the face of Dior’s Savage aftershave, while Charlize promoted the J’Adore perfume for 20 years, linking them both to the French fashion house.
So while it was no surprise that they were both in attendance at the show, the apparent ‘snub’ from Charlize did set tongues wagging online.
One account shared a clip of the brush off, and said: ‘Charlize Theron ignoring Johnny Depp (whom she worked with on The Astronaut) at the Dior fashion show’.

The account also noted that Charlize previously ‘liked’ a 2023 Time article that critiqued Johnny’s comeback following his high profile defamation case.
After winning his 2022 defamation trial against Amber Heard, Johnny Depp began a measured comeback.
He returned to the spotlight with the French film Jeanne du Barry (2023), which premiered at Cannes to a standing ovation.
Around the same time, he re-established his partnership with Dior Sauvage, signing a record-breaking fragrance deal. He’s also focused on music projects with his band Hollywood Vampires.
So far, his comeback has leaned more on European cinema, fashion, and music rather than big Hollywood blockbusters.
At the Dior show he was seen mingling with Brigitte as he makes a slow return to the spotlight.
He cut a stylish figure in a grey blazer layered over a shirt and blue jeans.

The pair appeared in good spirits as they nestled together for a snap while sitting front row of the show.
Johnny famously lost the libel action which he brought at the UK High Court in 2020, after being called a ‘wife beater’, but successfully brought a libel action against Amber in a US court in 2022.
But despite the latter result, his reputation took a battering with his stock as one of the world’s leading actors dramatically falling amid sensational headlines of domestic abuse, sexual violence, drug taking and excessive drinking.
The whole ordeal with Amber threatened his entire career as he was dropped from a star role in the Harry Potter spin-off film series ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore,’ as Hollywood turned its back on him.
He was also dropped by Disney in his role as Captain Jack Sparrow from the sixth edition of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean.’
Johnny recently admitted in a media interview: ‘I was shunned, dumped, booted, deep-sixed, cancelled, however you want to define it.’
Referring to the trials, he said: ‘I fought it because had I not then I wouldn’t have been me.
‘Would I rather have not gone through that? Of course.

As for Brigitte, she has also not had the easiest time in the public eye, having suffered scrutiny for her relationship with French President Emmanuel Macron since 2007.
Emmanuel was 15 when he fell in love with the then-married Brigitte Auzière, 25 years his senior.
She was his drama teacher at the Catholic Providence school in Amiens, in northern France, and her daughter, Laurence, was Macron’s classmate.
Their romance blossomed and caused a scandal in the province. Macron’s parents then sent him to Paris to go to another school, but his desire to be with his teacher and pursuit of her remained.
She said she told herself that, once Emmanuel was in Paris, he would ‘fall in love with someone his [own] age’, but that didn’t happen.

Brigitte gave up her job, but said the ‘only obstacles’ were her children, as she didn’t want to ‘wreck their lives’.
‘That lasted ten years, the time to put them on the rails. You can imagine what they were hearing. But I didn’t want to miss out on my life,’ she said.
Her son is three years older than Macron and her daughters, now aged 46 and 39, are of similar age to her second husband.
She also added that she doesn’t know what her parents would have said about her marriage to her former student, but noted that her siblings would sometimes joke about the gossip surrounding her and Macron’s relationship.
She finally married Macron – a civil servant in his late twenties at the time – in 2007, after divorcing her estranged husband André-Louis Auzière the year before.

The First Lady gave a little more insight into the Macrons’ married life, which she usually remains tight-lipped about apart from mentioning the difficulties in the early years of their relationship were.
Despite already being married for 16 years, Brigitte said her husband still manages to surprise and amaze her with his impressive memory and intelligence.
‘I had many brilliant pupils and none had his capability.
‘I have always admired him,’ she explained.
