Netflix has a big surprise for Stranger Things Day 2025!

Netflix confirmed the first five minutes of Stranger Thingsfinal season will be revealed during the Stranger Things 5 premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday, Nov. 6, which begins at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET. But, there’s a catch.

You won’t be able to watch the sneak peek on the Netflix YouTube Channel or on the streaming service like TUDUM in the past. Instead, you actually have to RSVP to the event.

Here’s how to watch the first five minutes of Stranger Things 5

This isn’t like any Stranger Things event we’ve seen so far. As mentioned, you have to RSVP to watch the Stranger Things 5 premiere live event. All you have to do is fill out this form on TUDUM, and then check your email for the link to watch around the time the event begins.

It’s unclear if you will be able to sign up after the event begins, so if you’re planning to watch, you better do so soon.

According to Netflix, the event will be about three hours long, and I have a feeling we’ll probably be waiting until the end of the event when Netflix shares the sneak peek at Stranger Things 5.

TUDUM shared a schedule of the event, which kicks off with some interactive games, polls, and fan discussion. Then, the red carpet even begins where you’ll see interviews with all the stars of Stranger Things 5, among other “special guests.” After that, Netflix will share the sneak peek at the first five minutes of Stranger Things 5.

There were tickets to attend the Stranger Things 5 red carpet event in Los Angeles available earlier this week, but it has since sold out.

To recap, you need to sign up for the stream on Netflix and then show up around 5 p.m. PT for the event. Then, just sit back and wait to watch the sneak peek at the final season. That’s all you have to do!

It’s honestly so surreal this is happening. I’ve been doing this a long time, but I remember writing up a story on the first eight minutes of the first season of Stranger Things way back in the day. At that time, no one had any idea what this show was or what it was going to be. Now, it’s the biggest show in the world heading into its final season, and Netflix is making fans RSVP to watch the first five minutes of that season. It’s wild!
