Millionaire conservative podcaster Patrick Bet-David was recently mocked over a painting he has hanging in his Florida mansion that depicts him next to prominent figures, including Martin Luther King Jr., Abraham Lincoln and Albert Einstein

A millionaire conservative podcaster has been ruthlessly mocked over a painting that depicts him alongside prominent figures, including Abraham Lincoln and Albert Einstein.

Patrick Bet-David, the host of PBD Podcast and Valuetainment, was seen showing off the massive portrait in a 2018 tour of his $25 million mansion in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In the video, which recently resurfaced online, the 47-year-old said he commissioned freelance illustrator Brent Hale to paint him in the portrait with other well-known male figures, including Martin Luther King Jr., John F. Kennedy, Brazilian racecar driver Ayrton Senna and rapper Tupac.

The right-wing businessman said the work of art has ‘a bunch of different hidden messages in there,’ and also shows the group of men ‘debating’ Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto and the book Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.

‘This is my thinking room. If I want to think I come here, I close up and I start thinking,’ Bet-David, who is worth around $350 to $500 million, said.

Seven years after he debuted the unique painting, people are still slamming him for it.

A user labeled the media personality a ‘boomer narcissist’ while another called him a ‘total clown’ for having the portrait in the first place.

‘This painting always reminds me money can’t buy taste,’ another X user wrote.

‘This made me dislike him even more,’ someone else commented.

Another chimed in: ‘That painting is not only aesthetically ugly, it is spiritually ugly.’

‘He is so well connected he thinks he’s also intelligent,’ a user wrote.

Bet-David, who’s gone on to share an interactive diagram breaking down the painting, frequently speaks about it on his show and other networks.

In May, he called the portrait a ‘weird painting of dead people’ that he claimed is meant to show him as a ‘student’ learning from the others.

‘And it’s called dead mentors,’ the Iranian-born commentator said.

‘And people are like “What a freakin’ crazy guy, who does this arrogant guy think he is?” He puts himself in a painting and all this other stuff.

‘I see myself as the lowest person in that painting. I see myself as I’m the student around all these other people that are teaching, and I’m learning from them, right, so it’s a different kind of perspective,’ he added.

Bet-David continued: ‘It’s what my depiction is of these people in my mind and what advice they would give me, what they would tell me to do. And I’m always in those meetings with these guys – that guy would tell me to do this.’

The Daily Mail contacted Bet-David for comment.

He is no stranger to controversy – as last month, he was slammed by critics for charging his fans thousands of dollars to FaceTime him.

The conservative influencer charges $48,000 for an hour-long chat with him on the Minnect app, which connects people with experts to get advice.

If that price tag is out of your budget, he’s also offering audio texts for $100 per message.

Naysayers were quick to mock the entrepreneur, with one writing, ‘Who the f**k is paying that?’

Another commented: ‘The goal of this is to give the perception that he’s super important. I would be shocked if he actually gets calls.’

‘Imagine paying a man $48,000 whose only track record of success is hot takes on the internet about the latest news in politics and culture,’ wrote a third.

After the post went viral on X an unfazed Bet-David hit back at his critics with a simple response.

‘It’s actually $48,000 for an hour FaceTime and $100 for an audio text. Access is expensive,’ he wrote.

‘There are 8,000+ experts and influencers to MINNECT with. Download @theminnectapp to learn more.’

But his response only created more mayhem as one person wrote: ‘Anyone who can afford to pay $48,000 dollars to talk to you for an hour doesn’t need to talk to you.’

Another joked, ‘It’s way cheaper to get a FaceTime call with me. I only charge $10k an hour!’

Bet-David founded the Minnect app in late 2023 to give users access to advice from experts in their field.

Some of the current names currently on Minnect include former CNN star Chris Cuomo, actor Terrence Howard, and psychiatrist Paul Saladino.

While Bet-David has published multiple books on business, he’s currently best known for hosting the conservative YouTube show, The PBD Podcast.

Guests on the show have included President Donald Trump, Benjamin Netanyahu, Alex Jones, Stephen Baldwin, Nick Fuentes, and Neil deGrasse Tyson.

He went viral in September after offering a self-professed anti-capitalist a free one-way flight to a communist country of her choosing because she said nations like Cuba, North Korea and Venezuela do not truly follow the ideology.

The businessman made the proposition during a debate on Jubilee, telling the woman he was thinking of throwing in an extra $20,000 if she accepted.

However, the anti-capitalist outright refused.

The viral video series, titled Surrounded, pits figures like Bet-David against others with opposing viewpoints for a debate.
