South Park is poking fun at President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance again. And, fans believe that the latest episode, titled Unholy Birth, will cause another White House meltdown.
Wednesday night’s graphic episode of the long-running animated series depicted Vance confessing his love to Trump. If that wasn’t bad enough for the audience, he and the President of the United States ended up in bed with each other in the Lincoln Bedroom. This scene alone triggered a massive reaction on social media, with many feeling revolted by the nightmarish images and horrid dialogue.
Viewers’ comments on X ranged from amused to absolutely disgusted. One user stated, “Thanks for the nightmares I’m gonna have tonight South Park.” Others stated that they were traumatized by the spectacle. A fan even predicted that either Trump or a White House representative would respond to the episode in the morning, “South Park is definitely going to trigger another White House response tomorrow bc holy s***.“
South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have made a habit of mocking President Trump, his political allies, and his supporters. They stated in an older interview with The New York Times that it was their way of mirroring the government. “It’s like the government is just in your face everywhere you look. Whether it’s the actual government or whether it is all the podcasters and the TikToks and the YouTubes and all of that, and it’s just all political and political because it’s more than political. It’s pop culture,” Parker explained.
The duo have also expressed how grateful they were that Paramount gave them so much creative freedom. Stone stated, “I know with the Colbert thing and all the Trump stuff, people think certain things but they’re letting us do whatever we want, to their credit.”
South Park airs new episodes on Wednesdays at 10:00 PM ET and 7:00 PM PT.
