Simpsons and SNL Writer Dan McGrath Passes Away

Emmy Award-winning writer Dan McGrath has sadly passed away on November 14, 2025, at 61 years old. He has written episodes for The Simpsons, Saturday Night Live, King of the Hill, and Gravity Falls.

McGrath was a critically acclaimed writer. He won an Emmy in 1997 for The Simpsons episode, Homer’s Phobia. He was also nominated for an Emmy in 1992 for his work on Saturday Night Live.
