Nina Dobrev donned a bikini in Mexico for her first Thanksgiving since splitting from longtime love Shaun White.
The “Vampire Diaries” alum was pictured hanging out with friends at a beach resort, rocking a black and white striped bikini and sunglasses while catching some rays.
At one point, the actress hoisted a large beach umbrella on her shoulder while carrying a beverage in her other hand.
The actress showed off several angles of the halter-style bikini, which featured skin-baring thong bottoms, during her sunny beach holiday.
Dobrev, 36, was also seen happily emerging from the waves with a pal after a dip in the ocean.
The actress’s holiday beach vacation comes two months after she ended her engagement to the Olympic champion, 39, after five years together.
“It was a mutual decision, and wasn’t an easy one, but it was made with love and a deep respect for one another,” an insider told People in September of the split.
Later that month, the actress was seen cozying up to Disney alum Zac Efron during a yacht vacation with friends off the coast of Sardinia, though she later denied to TMZ that they were an item.
In the days following their sudden split, a source divulged to the Daily Mail that the pair had different priorities.
“Shaun is retired and has had his last Olympics, he was very ready for marriage and kids and all that comes from that,” the insider said, referring to the Beijing 2022 Winter Games, where the pro snowboarder finished fourth in the men’s halfpipe.
“Nina was on board but also very interested in seeing where her acting career was going to go, as that was and is very important to her,” they shared, adding that the athlete was also zeroing in on “being an entrepreneur after his snowboarding career finished up.”
The source explained that White was looking ahead to family life as his athletic career came to an end.
“He was gearing up to be a father and wanting that life,” the source said.
“As much as they had the same ideals and wanted to enjoy the same ride, they naturally couldn’t come together on a common goal and that was the strain on their relationship.”
The source added that the duo — who began dating during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 — got “stuck in their own ways.”
“They were smart enough to get out now while they still are young and while they still can move on from each other without any baggage,” the insider noted.
After four years of dating, White got down on one knee to pop the question to Dobrev in October 2024.
“She said YES 💍♾️,” White captioned a series of pics of the romantic, flower-filled proposal. Dobrev also shared the news, captioning her post, “RIP boyfriend, hello fiancé 💍♾️.”
