Home Improvement alum Zachery Ty Bryan is back behind bars again after he and his fiancée of three years, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, were arrested in Oregon Saturday.

The 44-year-old former child star is being held without bail in Lane County Jail in Eugene until next Wednesday for a probation violation tied to his 2020 and 2023 domestic violence convictions.

Bryan’s prior three-year probation isn’t set to expire until October 2026.

The 32-year-old former jetback instructor also remains in custody for a DUII charge as well as three counts of reckless endangering and attempted first-degree assault.

Worryingly, Bryan and Cartwright – who got engaged in 2022 – are parents of three-year-old daughter Kennedy as well as two-year-old twins Parker and Sequoia.

In January, the troubled actor was arrested for second-degree domestic violence against an unidentified woman, whom he shared children with, in Myrtle Beach, SC.

In 2023, Bryan served seven days in the same jail and was sentenced to 36 months of supervised probation for domestic violence against an unidentified woman.

And in 2020, the Colorado native was ordered by the same court to attend a batterer intervention program after being charged with domestic violence against the 5ft10in blonde.

Bryan’s substantial rap sheet also includes DUI arrests in Arapaho, OK in October 2024 and La Quinta, CA in February 2024.

As recent as July, an unidentified ex-girlfriend was granted a five-year restraining order after accusing the former sitcom star or physically abusing her, but no criminal charges were filed.

‘Being thrust into the spotlight at nine years old brought pressures I wasn’t equipped to handle,’ Bryan told TMZ on November 11.

‘But that’s no justification for my choices as an adult.’

The nineties teen idol – who says he started drinking at age 14 – understands that ‘domestic violence in any form is unacceptable’ and he’s embarking on ‘a journey toward personal growth.’

‘The truth is, I’ve struggled with the lasting effects of early fame, addiction, and poor decision-making, which have hurt people I care about and led to repeated legal issues, including DUIs and past domestic incidents,’ Bryan explained.

‘This latest situation, involving a restraining order and serious accusations, has been a painful wake-up call.’

The crypto enthusiast is also father to four children – twin daughters Gemma + Taylor, 11; daughter Jordana, 9; and son Pierce, 6 – during his 12-year marriage to high school sweetheart Carly Matros, who filed for divorce in 2020.

THR published an exposé in 2023 accusing Bryan of earning $50K by running a fraudulent agriculture-technology start-up scheme.

He hasn’t had an acting role since playing The President’s Aide #1 in Netflix’s seven-episode superhero series The Guardians of Justice (Will Save You!) in 2022.
