A Cleveland Browns star has come under fire after his heated sideline discussion with quarterback Shedeur Sanders went viral.
Sanders made his second start for the Browns on Sunday afternoon as they took on the San Francisco 49ers – but failed to prevent a 26-8 defeat on the day.
The rookie quarterback went 16-of-25 for 149 yards and one touchdown, which was seen by many as a step in the right direction.
However, it appeared as though Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy had a lot to say about the performance, after he was seen ranting at Sanders while on the sideline.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Sanders was in deep conversation with a Browns coach when Jeudy marched over.
The wide receiver made multiple impassioned gestures as he clapped his hands and held his arms out, seemingly frustrated with some of Sanders’ passing.

However, after the clip went viral on social media, fans were quick to note the stats behind Sanders’ first two starts – and how it’s brought the best out of Jeudy.
One fan on X, who shared a clip of the incident, wrote: ‘Shedeur has two starts. In those two starts, Jerry Jeudy has 4 catches, 2 dropped passes, and 1 fumble.
‘Through 10 games with Dillon Gabriel and Joe Flacco, Jeudy had 28 catches with 8 drops, a lousy 2.8 catches per game average, and this is how he disrespects his QB’.
Meanwhile, another said: ‘Dear Jerry Jeudy, It is cold and windy. The ball will carry at times.
‘You don’t have to walk off shaking your head, and showing your QB up, particularly when you drop and fumble balls on a weekly basis. Shoe the same grace that others have shown with you.
Another disgruntled supporter said: ‘This s*** nasty work’.
During the first half of the game, Sanders unlocked the 49ers defense and found Harold Fannin Jr for a 34-yard touchdown, which gave the Browns a brief lead.
The play caught the attention of fans on social media, including NBA legend LeBron James, who took to X to praise Sanders.

It remains to be seen as to whether Sanders will keep his starting role for the Browns next game, which sees them take on the Titans next week.
Sanders had stepped in for Dillon Gabriel, who suffered a concussion, but kept his spot even after the latter recovered from the injury.
Speaking after the game, Sanders said: ‘What people do outside the building isn’t really in my control. It’s not in my power. It’s not like I can go out there and tell ’em to do whatever.
‘Coach Stefanski, he’s been coaching since I got here, and we’ve been doing a very great job with everything that’s going on. He tells me what I need to do on and off the field. We’ve definitely grown, our relationship and everything has grown.’
