As much as we’d like to play it humble and say there’s nothing on our Christmas list this year – it would be an entirely pointless lie to all those who know us.
Plus, as I’m sure you can imagine, for people working in fashion there is an ever-growing roster of garments and accessories that we covet throughout the year (provided we haven’t already caved and indulged ourselves).
So come the Christmas season, after insisting to our nearest and dearest they needn’t buy anything and we want for nothing, the following list inevitably comes rolling out.
From simple accessories to a glamorous silky dress, here are the top 10 items on our fashion team’s Christmas lists – that we think should be on yours, too.

I love coats but one style I’m missing is something suede. As soon as I tried on Barney’s suede trench in chocolate brown, I knew I wanted it. It’s the perfect combination of smart-casual and something I know will last a lifetime.
As someone who lives in jeans, I tend to buy them myself as I’m very particular when it comes to picking the right style and size. However, there’s one pair of jeans I’ll be adding to my Christmas wish list this year that I know will fit perfectly, and that’s a pair of Frame flares. I’ve had my current ones for years and can safely safe I’ve worn them hundreds of times. This is the first year I’ve started to notice some wear and tear, so I’ll be wishing for a new pair wrapped up under the Christmas tree.
You’ll never be disappointed unwrapping anything cashmere and I’ve had my eye on this Jigsaw jumper for a while. The soft, fluffy texture combined with my favourite colour, dark green, is a worthy investment.
Boots can come with a hefty price tag and they’re not often something you buy on a whim. I’ve always wanted a pair of boots from Essen and I’m hoping this year might be the year I finally get my hands on a pair. Their glove boot in chocolate nappa leather are so sleek and stylish.
I always love finding new jewellery brands, especially when it’s something not everyone else is wearing. DTP Antwerp offer affordable diamond jewellery and these small yellow gold plated hoops caught my eye. They feel like an upgrade from my tarnished huggies and the three natural white diamonds add a hint of sparkle without being OTT. A great gift that looks more expensive than is.
I love wearing jewellery whether I’m at home or on set. And what better way to keep all my jewels organised than with a trendy jewellery case from Daisy London? I’ll be buying it myself if it doesn’t make the cut.
A few years ago I fell in love with DeMellier handbags and only want to add to my collection as they keep bringing out new shapes and colourways. This suede shoulder bag in my one of my favourite colours, chocolate brown, is top of my list.
Who doesn’t love homeware? I’m a sucker for a new candle or vase but what my bedroom is really missing is a rug. I recently attended an event for Ruggable’s new design collaboration with fashion brand Rixo. I instantly fell in love with all the designs and wish I could have one in every room. This is the perfect grown-up gift.
A few of my friends have LED face masks and since trying theirs I’ve decided I want one too. My job can be demanding and certainly takes it’s toll on my skin, with early starts and late finishes, so this is the perfect device – especially over party season. Some are a steep investment but Therabody’s new Theraface Mask Glo comes in a reasonable price – and I know it’s something I’ll get a lot of use out of.
If there’s one beauty product I keep going back to year after year, it’s Sunday Riley’s C.E.O. glow face oil. I use it religiously so a new bottle is always welcomed.
I can’t go anywhere without my trusty steamer. Holidays, events, photoshoots… it’s always needed. I love Steamery and when I saw it’d launched a travel steamer, I knew I needed one. It’s far more compact and lightweight compared to my regular model, meaning I can fit more in my case – a win-win.
Getting my nails done is such a treat, but after spending all my money on Christmas presents and festive outings, there won’t be much left over for self-care come January. So receiving a gift card for my favourite salon, Townhouse, would be a welcomed gift.

Sexy, silky and slinky – this Claudie Pierlot dress feels like something Eartha Kitt would have asked for under her Christmas tree in the 1950s song ‘Santa Baby’. I must confess, I have tried it on, and it is every bit worth the price. The way the soft fabric clings to just the right parts of the body, with a leg slit and Victorian style collar that smartens the style. I’m very much hoping to unwrap this one.
Receiving jewellery at Christmas is always special, but when it’s a vintage piece it feels that little bit more precious. London-based brand SOH Vintage have the most timeless offerings at surprisingly reasonable prices. Their 1980s Crystal Necklace has been on my list since it first caught my eye earlier this year.
Every year I receive new hair scrunchies because I’m notorious for losing them. Recently I’ve been loving the giant type – when tied around a bun it instantly makes you look chic and put together with minimal effort. Clementine & Mint have the perfect size in a velvet chocolate brown to match my hair colour.
Easy yet elegant ‘going out tops’ are something I seem to lack in my wardrobe. So when I came across this Mango velvet halter-neck I knew it had to go on my Christmas list. It’s simple enough to go with a multitude of trousers or skirts, yet super flattering and striking thank to its tailored fit and toggle neck feature.
A rather quirky piece, I know, but it’s the fun indulgent items you’d never buy yourself that you most appreciate receiving. This fuzzy caramel vest is just the sort of thing I live in: it’s flattering at the waist, super comfortable and the exaggerated shoulders add drama – how could I resist?
A new pair of sexy yet wearable boots would most definitely put a big smile on my face on Christmas morning. I’ve seen dozens of brown suede heeled boots in all sorts of price ranges, and this H&M pair feels the best value for money. A comfortable height, good length for under skirts and trousers with a flattering chisel toe – and well under £100! I’ll be buying them for myself if someone else doesn’t.
Fairfax and Favor has the most chic yet practical wear – something I don’t come across often. So as far as top-tier gifts go, this belted biker-style jacket is a winner for me. Not only uber-trendy in black leather, the lining is warm and comfortable to wear. I’ll be beyond excited to open this on the big day.
Anything to add a little interest to an everyday outfit always catches my eye. Reiss has some fabulous belts that do just this, but their gold chain twist style is the one that stands out to me the most. I would throw this on with any plain pair of trousers to instantly upgrade my look, or around the waist of a blazer for a more tailored and stylish touch.
Something to wear on New Years Eve always ends up on my Christmas list, and this pair of statement earrings from Sicilian jewellery brand Soru is my top pick for this year. Their new square tigers eye gemstone studs feel a worthy contender as they’ll definitely become a staple that’ll also go with most day and night outfits throughout the year.
Donna Ida is known for its denim jumpsuits, and the Cassandra style has the dream fit. Snug around the bottom, cinchable at the waist and nicely flared on the leg, every woman I’ve seen wear this has pushed me closer to buying it. So, if there’s any room left on my list, this one wouldn’t go unappreciated.
