Michael Clarke has raised eyebrows after he appeared to make a cheeky comment while posing for a festive family photo.
The former Australian cricket captain, 43, was all smiles on Tuesday when he visited Santa for a photo opportunity with daughter Kelsey Lee and girlfriend Arabella Sherborne at a local Westfield shopping centre.
But it was Clarke’s caption on the photo shared to Instagram that quickly caught the attention of fans.
‘Daddy has been a good boy this year so I’m looking forward to Santa stopping by,’ he wrote while tagging Arabella.
In the photo, Clarke cut a casual figure in a black T-shirt and matching shorts, flashing a broad smile as he sat on a gold stool beside his daughter.
Arabella, meanwhile, opted for a sleek black mini dress and ballet flats, wearing her dark hair pulled back and keeping her makeup natural as she smiled for the camera.

Santa sat front and centre on an oversized red and gold throne, surrounded by Christmas trees, baubles and star decorations, creating a classic holiday backdrop for the family moment.
Clarke shares his daughter with ex-wife Kyly Clarke, with the former couple splitting in 2019 after seven years of marriage.
It comes after the couple celebrated their one-year anniversary in May.
The lovebirds went Instagram official with their new romance in July last year after it was revealed they jetted off to the Gold Coast together in June.
They officially confirmed their relationship when they stepped out holding hands at celebrity hotspot Mimi’s in Sydney just a few weeks later.
Their romance bloomed 18 months after Clarke’s very public split with his ex–girlfriend Jade Yarbrough.
Clarke and Yarbrough had a bust–up in January 2023 in a Noosa park when she accused the former cricketer of sleeping with his ex–girlfriend Pip Edwards.
Dramatic footage showed a shirtless Clarke being screamed at and slapped by his girlfriend while out for dinner at a beachside restaurant in Noosa.

A remorseful Clarke later took full responsibility for what happened.
‘I’m absolutely gutted I’ve put people I hold in the highest regard in this position. My actions in the lead–up to this altercation were nothing short of shameful and regrettable,’ he told The Daily Telegraph.
‘I am shattered that because of my actions I’ve drawn women of class and integrity, and my mates, into this situation.’
Despite the bust–up, the exes ‘remain on amicable terms,’ a representative previously told Daily Mail.
