Following last week’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, the Chiefs won’t be making it to the playoffs this NFL season. But that won’t dampen the holiday spirit for us Swifties!
Fans of the “Fate of Ophelia” singer were blessed by Swift’s presence on Christmas Day, when she was spotted cheering on the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City as they took on the Denver Broncos.
Videos of the singer at the stadium reveal that she was wearing her signature Chiefs red, including the Zion Bomber jacket by The Frankie Shop ($388) paired with a black skirt and tights.
She also wore her signature red lip and accessorized with the Express PM bag by Louis Vuitton, which retails for $4,200.
Though Swift has typically been a good luck charm for her fiancé, NFL tight end Travis Kelce, this season has been less favorable for the two-time defending Super Bowl champions.
Earlier this month, she was in the stands wearing a colorful Ulla Johnson coat to witness the Chiefs’ crushing loss to the Houston Texans. Although today’s game against the Denver Broncos is a fun Christmas activity for the Swift and Kelce families, not even a win will propel the Chiefs back into playoff territory.
Perhaps that will give Taylor and Travis more time for wedding planning?
Swift and Kelce got engaged last August in Kansas City, with the football pro popping the question with an exquisite old mine brilliant-cut sparkler set in an engraved gold band designed by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine, as first confirmed by Page Six Style.
The two began dating in the summer of 2023. Swift made her first appearance at a Chiefs game that September, while she was in the midst of her epic 149-show Eras Tour.
The Chiefs won their second consecutive Super Bowl in 2024, with Taylor embracing Travis on the field.
Since then, Swift has become close friends with several WAGs, including Brittany Mahomes, as well as Travis’ brother Jason Kelce and his family.
So, even if they don’t have another Super Bowl to look forward to, we’re pretty sure that Taylor and Travis will have their hands full with plenty of pre-wedding festivities next year.
