Bleach fans rejoice, as after 21 years, the anime is finally set to bring Ichigo Kurosaki’s ultimate form to the anime. While the protagonist has had several transformations over the years, he is set to unleash his strongest form in the upcoming Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War part 4 anime.
As part of Jump Festa 2026 announcements, Bleach anime unveiled a new teaser trailer for the upcoming fourth part of the Thousand-Year Blood War anime. The teaser trailer confirmed that Ichigo would be transforming into his “Horn of Salvation” form against Soul King Yhwach.
Bleach Anime Set to Unleash Ichigo’s Ultimate Form in Summer 2026
On the second day of Jump Festa, Bleach’s Jump Festa Super Stage saw the anime unveil a new teaser trailer for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity anime.
As expected, the anime’s fourth part is set to focus on Ichigo and his friends’ battle against Yhwach. While Ishida Uryuu is set to fight Jugram Haschwalth, Ichigo and Orihime are notably set to confront the Father of the Quincy.
During this battle, Bleach anime will see Ichigo unleash his ultimate form in the anime. The new transformation is very much reminiscent of Ichigo’s Vasto Lorde form. However, unlike the Hollow form that saw Ichigo lose control over his mind and manifest two horns, he now has full control over his body and manifests only one horn.
What is Ichigo’s Ultimate Form in Bleach Anime?
While there is no official name for Ichigo’s new transformation, some call it the “Merged Hollow Form,” while others dub it as the “Horn of Salvation.” Fans call it the “Horn of Salvation” because that was the chapter title in which the transformation first appeared.
After Ichigo learns the origin of his Shinigami powers, his Hollow and Quincy powers come into balance with one another. However, should Ichigo’s inner Hollow be woken by large amounts of Quincy Reiatsu, the balance can be disrupted, allowing Ichigo to meld with his inner Hollow, resulting in his ultimate transformation.
The Merged Hollow form drastically increases Ichigo’s combat abilities and overall power, granting him enhanced strength, speed, and spiritual power.
