Timothy Busfield has officially been dropped from his talent agency following his arrest on child sex abuse charges this week.
The 68-year-old actor – who is married to Little House On The Prairie alum Melissa Gilbert – was let go from Innovative Artists on Wednesday after he surrendered to police in New Mexico one day earlier, per Deadline.
Busfield is known for starring in a number of projects in Hollywood including Thirtysomething and The West Wing.
The star is facing felony charges including two counts of sexually assaulting twin boys, and a newly-filed charge involving a 16-year-old female victim.
Busfield made his first appearance in court on Wednesday in New Mexico wearing an orange jumpsuit as he stood in front of a judge.
Gilbert – who ‘supports her husband’ amid the shocking charges – was not seen inside the courtroom at the time.

Last week, an arrest warrant was issued for Busfield for charges of child abuse and criminal sexual contact with a minor.
However, the actor has since denied the allegations – labeling them as ‘lies’ and vowed to fight the charges in a video to TMZ.
‘I will confront these lies. I did not do anything to those little boys,’ he told the outlet.
Busfield has been accused of inappropriately touching two young boys in 2022 on set of the crime drama series The Cleaning Lady which he was directing.
He then continued, ‘I was ordered to come to Albuquerque, and well, I’m here now. I got the call Friday night, I had to get a lawyer, and on Saturday I got a car and drove 2,000 miles to Albuquerque.’
The star once again called the allegations lies and said, ‘I did not do anything.’
Busfield told TMZ, ‘I’m gonna fight it with a great team, and I know I’m going to be exonerated. I know I am, because this is all so wrong and all lies.’
Following his arrest, he is being at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Bernalillo County, per documents obtained by the Daily Mail.

Gilbert – who tied the knot with Busfield in 2013 – broke her silence over her husband’s arrest earlier this week.
Her representative told the Daily Mail, ‘Melissa Gilbert is not making public statements at this time.
‘Any purported “statements” circulating online – including AI-generated deepfakes of her ‘breaking her silence’ – should not be treated as coming from her.’
The rep added, ‘She is honoring the request of Tim’s lawyers not to speak publicly while the legal process unfolds. During this period, her focus is on supporting and caring for their very large family, as they navigate this moment.
‘Melissa stands with and supports her husband and will address the public at an appropriate time. We ask that their privacy be respected.’
And in a statement additionally obtained by the Daily Mail, Busfield’s civil attorney, Stanton “Larry” Stein, called the actor ‘innocent’ and labeled the claims as ‘false.’
Busfield’s arrest took place on Tuesday after he surrendered to police.
And on Wednesday, the star appeared in New Mexico court looking stony-faced as he faced his child sex abuse charges in public for the first time. His wife was not seen inside the New Mexico courtroom during the arraignment.
Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court Judge Felicia Blea-Rivera told the Emmy award-winning actor he would not be allowed bail during the brief two-minute hearing.

Prosecutors filed a motion on Wednesday seeking to prevent Busfield from being granted bond as his case is transferred to a Second Judicial District Court judge.
Judge Blea-Rivera approved the motion. ‘You will continue to be held without bond,’ she told a somber-looking Busfield. ‘Your next hearing will take place within the next five business days.’
Wednesday’s hearing is the first time Busfield has been seen since he released a shocking video to TMZ addressing the allegations.
His lawyer also told the Daily Mail on Wednesday: ‘Tim Busfield denies the allegations in the criminal complaint and maintains they are completely false.’
Stein continued, ‘As a voluntary step, he submitted to an independent polygraph examination regarding those allegations and passed.’
The actor and producer was charged last week with sexually assaulting twin boys on the set of TV series The Cleaning Lady from 2022 until 2024.
Then this week, he was accused of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl while she was auditioning for a show.
The alleged victim’s father told police Busfield groped the aspiring actress ‘several years ago’ at the theater he founded in Sacramento, California.
