Fearne Cotton has shared an emotional post on social media as she promotes her new book amid her ex Jesse Wood’s legal woes.
The presenter and podcaster, 44, took to her official Instagram on Thursday where she plugged her upcoming book Likeable that hit shelves in March.
In the candid post, Fearne shared how she has learned more about herself over the years – and how she previously didn’t give the same level of respect she shows others to herself.
Fearne said: ‘In this book I look at the ways I (maybe you too) have tried to remain likeable. How I have shape-shifted, shrunk, diluted myself, remained silent, and bent over backwards for approval.
‘The introspection has been fruitful and I’ve learned a lot about myself. I’ve also started to move in new ways where I’m more honest with myself and others, more me, I’ve said no, and have allowed myself the same amount of self respect and generosity I’ve given other people over the years.
‘I wouldn’t say any of it has been easy but it feels like an essential learning curve (that I’m very much still on).’

She concluded her post by sharing images of some of the topics her book will explore, including behaviour, success, shame, age and perfection.
Fearne’s attention to her upcoming release comes after her ex Jesse faces his legal woes head on.
The musician, 49, is the son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood who is worth £100 million – and himself lives in a £3 million townhouse in Richmond.
But as he appeared in court on Thursday facing a possible driving ban, it emerged that since his split from TV presenter Fearne 13 months ago he has struggled to find paid work and is now living off savings.
Jesse, who is now dating former Made in Chelsea star Gemma Gregory, was summoned to Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court after he was clocked driving at 27mph in a 20mph zone in Earls Court, west London on April 7 last year.
This was because he had already clocked up three previous endorsements and so was facing a possible ban.
When he came to plead his case, the-father-of-four gave JPs an extraordinary insight into his recent struggles to be solvent and find paid work.
Jesse, who shares two children with Fearne and two from a previous relationship, represented himself when he told the court, saying: ‘I was due to be employed in 2024 but it got delayed.

‘At the moment I’m living off my savings and I am looking to get employment.’
Asked about his income as recorded on his last year’s tax returns, he continued: ‘Yes. It was very low at around £14,000.’
Jesse also apologised to the court for having driven 7mph above the limit on the A4 Cromwell Road when he was caught for the fourth time.
He added: ‘I would like to say I accept responsibility for what I have done.’
During an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine last year, Fearne briefly addressed her divorce from Jesse.
She told the Scottish presenter: ‘It’s all very amicable and kids are doing great. I am in a very good place.’
