Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz have been digging themselves a big hole that they may not be able to get out of with their encouragement of anti-ICE action.
They now have President Donald Trump talking about the Insurrection Act, and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche warning the two of them that he’s going to hold them accountable for their actions as the anti-ICE violence in Minnesota gets worse.

Frey did tell the rioters on Wednesday night to go home – after they’d already been whipped up. That’s a bit like closing the barn after the horse has already bolted.

Imagine if your daily routines were disrupted. The local cafe you eat at was shut down because they’re scared that their own family might get torn apart. Imagine if schools shut down and parents gotta figure out what to do for daycare.
Yes, imagine.
Imagine if you had leftists obstructing and fighting the enforcement of federal law passed by representatives of the people in Congress while pretending, falsely, that they had the moral high ground.
Imagine if Joe Biden let in millions of illegal aliens. Imagine if many of them did not share our values or care about obeying our laws. Imagine if some of them were rapists, killers, or serious criminals, but Democratic officials didn’t seem to care about that, and leftists fought ICE to defend these people. Imagine if they wanted to distract from the massive fraud in their state and the federal investigations underway?
Imagine if the Democrats saw the agents upholding our laws as the “invaders” and the aliens as their neighbors.
Oh, wait, we don’t have to imagine because that’s how twisted Frey and other Democrats are. He is essentially admitting his values aren’t American values, since he’s objecting to the laws as passed by the representatives of the people being enforced. Talk about a self-own.
This take from Frey is not going over very well.

Didn’t this kind of thinking go badly for the South in the Civil War? Didn’t it go badly for the southern politicians who pushed against federal law on civil rights in the 1960s? Sorry, guys, you don’t get to reject federal law.
They’re not even hiding it anymore. They want to stop the enforcement of immigration law, and they’re not going to be able to do it – but they’re going to keep riling up people in the meantime.
