It’s been a wild weekend with the anti-ICE action that has gone on in Minneapolis.
We saw agitators harassing random people whom they thought were ICE agents. The anti-ICE crew even stormed a church, disrupting the service because they thought that one of the pastors was associated with ICE. And for that reason, they wouldn’t allow the people of the church to worship in peace.
Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon said that they were now investigating the disgraceful church incident.

But that wasn’t quite the end of the wild moments for the weekend.
Independent journalist Nick Sortor was filming out of his car window in the Cedar Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis when he said a woman ripped the $1,000 camera he had right out of his hand. He jumped out of the car and chased after the person.

They then DRAGGED ME DOWN THE STREET as my hand got trapped in their door handle
NOBODY bothered helping

Sortor was dragged down the street after he grabbed the handle of the car door. Sortor said his hand got trapped in the door. That looked exceedingly dangerous, and he’s fortunate he was okay after that — that he wasn’t seriously hurt.
Instead of helping him, the people in the street yelled at him and told him to leave.
That seemed incredibly ironic given how Democrats object to ICE being in the neighborhood, picking up illegal aliens whom they view as “neighbors.” But a U.S. citizen should get out of the neighborhood?
Fortunately, attorney Mike Davis stepped up and said he would send him money for a new camera, which was very nice.
Wow.
I’m buying you a new camera.
Send me your Venmo via DM.
Stay safe.
You’re a patriot.

The FBI Rapid Response X account also said they were on the case, so that sounds very promising.
I suspect that whoever took the camera will find out that it is going to backfire big time, and that person is soon to have a very unhappy day.
As we previously reported, Sortor was the one who got footage of a man allegedly taking a rifle from a federal vehicle in the anti-ICE chaos last week. That man has already been arrested.

So Sortor has definitely had a busy time and has been putting it all out there to get the story. Anyone doing coverage there may face a volatile, unsafe situation. This violence and craziness have to stop. Mayor Jacob Frey needs to be held responsible for allowing the city to get so far out of hand.
