The three-time Oscar nominee – who’s celebrating his 80th birthday on July 6 – admitted in his Instagram caption: ‘Every year it gets harder and harder, but that’s why you gotta push harder and harder. Blood, sweat and tears.’
Stallone (born Michael Stallone) went on to call his home gym ‘a sanctuary’ or ‘church’ where he trains to get better.
‘You feel better physically, so you have the strength to arrive at your goals feeling confident and ready to face any challenge,’ the Italian stallion – who boasts 37.7 million social media followers – said in the selfie video.
‘You want to keep punching. See you soon.’

I Play Rocky – which began production in October – will also feature Stephan James, AnnaSophia Robb, Matt Dillon, P.J Byrne, Tracy Letts and Jay Duplass.

Stallone also fathered 46-year-old son Seargeoh from his first marriage to Sasha Czack, but their eldest Sage died age 36 from heart complications in 2012.
