Grab a box of chocolates, snuggle up in a cozy blanket, and clear a full day of Netflix binge-watching! Not for the latest hit mystery thriller limited series (unless that’s your jam), but for a new collection of Hallmark Channel original movies that were recently added to the streamer. It’s not every day that Netflix acquires movies from the Hallmark Channel, so this is a big event for fans.
In recent years, Netflix has started producing its own Hallmark-esque fare, especially each holiday season. Christmas romantic comedies are still some of the most-watched releases of the year, but when it comes to made-for-TV (and Netflix) movies, there’s no holiday that doesn’t deserve a romantic comedy. Even though it’s only January, it’s time to get in the Valentine’s Day spirit.
Netflix added a fair amount of Hallmark Christmas movies last year, per the network’s output deal with the streamer, but right now, it’s all about Valentine’s Day. Right now, you can add a handful — yes, that’s exactly five! — Hallmark Channel romantic comedy movies to your Netflix watch list whether it’s for the long weekend in January or any weekend leading up to February 14.
Hallmark Channel Valentine’s Day movies available on Netflix
The five Hallmark Channel movies added to Netflix in January 2026 are An Unexpected Valentine, Hats Off to Love, Love in the Clouds, The Royal We, and Sisterhood, Inc. All five of the movies premiered on the cable network in 2025 and were first made available to exclusively stream on Hallmark+ before eventually becoming available to stream on Netflix.
An Unexpected Valentine stars Hallmark Channel queen Lacey Chabert (who also starred in Netflix’s Christmas rom-com Hot Frosty) and One Tree Hill alum Robert Buckley. The pair play a hopeless romantic and a rideshare driver who find themselves teaming up together to find the owner of a lost engagement ring in New York City. As of Jan. 16, the movie peaked at No. 3 on Netflix’s top 10 movies daily ranking. Talk about getting into the Valentine’s Day spirit!
Hats Off to Love stars Ginna Claire Mason, John Clarence Stewart, and Holly Robinson Peete and takes place in the world of horse racing. A hat designer meets the horse trainer son of a socialite, and the pair find love in the midst of a derby. Love in the Clouds stars Paul Greene and McKenzie Westmore and finds a reporter falling for a pilot during a hot air balloon festival.
If you’re looking for something with a glamorous flourish, especially as Bridgerton season 4 nears, The Royal We stars Mallory Jansen and Charlie Carrick as royals forced into an arranged marriage that actually works. Finally, Sisterhood, Inc. takes a less obvious rom-com approach and stars Rachael Leigh Cook and Daniella Monet as sisters who have some lessons to teach each other about their respectively messy (or boring) love lives.
Whether you start your Valentine’s Day movie marathons early or wait until February begins to dive into these delicious Hallmark treats, they are ready and waiting for you on Netflix!
