Hillary Clinton exploded on Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace while explaining how she met Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick after the 9/11 attacks.
Mace grilled Clinton over her ties to Jeffrey Epstein and the current Trump official during a marathon congressional deposition last Thursday.
Lutnick had attempted to recruit Epstein to attend an ‘intimate fundraiser’ for Clinton during her 2016 presidential campaign.
In a video of the deposition released Monday, the former first lady and secretary of state can be seen getting visibly angry after Mace interrupts her.
‘You asked the question, I’m going to answer your question. This was what I spent my time doing!’
Ahead of the sudden outburst, Clinton was detailing how she came to know Lutnick.
‘I know Howard Lutnick, because when I was Senator on 9/11, the firm he headed, Cantor Fitzgerald, suffered the greatest loss of life,’ she continued.
‘As I recall, something like 650 of his employees were murdered by terrorists that day. Howard Lutnick missed being a victim because he was delayed dropping his child off to kindergarten.’
The former Secretary of State was deposed on Thursday, while her husband Bill’s testimony followed on Friday.

Weighing in on the exchange as it made the rounds on social media Monday afternoon, Mace noted that ‘Hillary Clinton denied seeking funds from Jeffrey Epstein in her deposition – yet emails showed Howard Lutnick sought funds for Hillary from Jeffrey Epstein.’
Mace did not provide evidence Clinton herself sought funds from Epstein.
‘She lost her sh*t when I asked about it,’ Mace added.
Clinton claimed during her deposition that she never met Epstein and only met his co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell, on a few occasions.
Lawmakers speaking ahead of the deposition last week were asked whether they planned to ask Clinton about an email in the Epstein files, which shows Lutnick – now Donald Trump’s Commerce Secretary – emailed the pedophile about Hillary’s 2016 presidential campaign.
‘It will be on my list,’ Republican Representative Nancy Mace told reporters at the time.
In November 2015, Epstein’s assistant forwarded him an invitation from Lutnick to a ‘very intimate fundraising event’ at his financial firm for then-presidential candidate Hillary.
It is unclear whether Epstein attended the event. He made no donations to her campaign, according to filings from the Federal Elections Commission.
Lutnick donated $2,700 to her campaign, the maximum allowed by law at that time.
