Cherokee Man With Autism Is Missing in Western North Carolina

Police in western North Carolina are searching for a missing Cherokee man with autism who was last seen in Hendersonville.

Shyne Ross, 19, lives in Cherokee, according to the Cherokee Indian Police Department. They did not say if he lives in the town or on the Qualla Boundary reservation.

Ross is described as 6 feet tall with long black hair and wearing glasses. He was last seen wearing black pants and a black and gray hoodie.

Police did not say when he was last seen.
