There’s no early kick-off this week, and the first match involved in our game is Arsenal vs Everton in the 5.30pm kick-off. The Gunners will be looking to go 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

Chelsea vs Newcastle and West Ham vs Manchester City are the later games on Saturday, with the Blues firmly in the hunt for Champions League football. City, meanwhile, will be keen to close that gap to Arsenal.

On Sunday, Crystal Palace host Leeds, Manchester United take on Aston Villa at Old Trafford and Nottingham Forest face Fulham, before we round up the gameweek with Liverpool vs Tottenham in the late slot on Sunday.

EXPERT PREDICTIONS

Kieran Gill is the Daily Mail Sport expert to beat this week

Arsenal vs Everton – HOME WIN

Chelsea vs Newcastle – DRAW

West Ham vs Man City – AWAY WIN

Crystal Palace vs Leeds – DRAW

Man Utd vs Aston Villa – DRAW

Nottm Forest vs Fulham – AWAY WIN

Liverpool vs Tottenham – HOME WIN

Daily Mail Sport’s expert this week is KIERAN GILL. Here is his verdict on the weekend games…

‘Amazingly enough, Igor Tudor can still call himself the manager of Spurs. I don’t think I’m shocking anyone here by going for a Liverpool win at Anfield. Not even Arne Slot’s side, inconsistent as they are, should mess that one up.

‘In good news for Spurs, I have Nottingham Forest losing at home to Fulham – not entirely sure why, just going with my gut – and Leeds playing to a draw at Crystal Palace.

‘I don’t see Arsenal and Manchester City dropping points in their matches versus Everton and West Ham respectively. City will be smarting after losing 3-0 to Real Madrid in the Champions League and, while theirs is an 8pm kick-off on a Saturday, which can make for a lively atmosphere at some grounds, the London Stadium won’t come close to the Bernabeu.

‘West Ham have only lost one of their last five league outings but I see an ‘L’ next to their name after this clash. At least the Hammers fans heading to that one can grab some last-minute Mother’s Day gifts from Westfield shopping centre.

‘Like City, Chelsea are also angry. For 74 minutes versus Paris Saint-Germain, they were playing exciting, effective football. Then it all unravelled at 2-2 with a poor pass from Robert Sanchez’s replacement Filip Jorgensen, leading to a 5-2 loss.

‘I usually tip the Blues to win, but I have a nagging feeling their week gets worse when they are held to a home draw by Newcastle.

‘That would go down as a missed opportunity for Chelsea because my predictions also have two Champions League qualification contenders in Manchester United and Aston Villa cancelling each other out at Old Trafford.’
