Thierry Henry shared pictures of his ripped physique with Instagram followers

Thierry Henry may have long retired from his legendary playing career but the ex-Arsenal and Barcelona striker is still in formidable shape.

The 48-year-old, once built for agility and speed with a lean frame has bulked up and piled on the muscle since transitioning into coaching and punditry.

Henry shared his workout regime with followers on Instagram with clips of him exercising alongside partner Andrea Rajacic.

At what appeared to be the couple’ home gym, there were three clips simultaneously overlaid showing them perform a circuit.

Henry also posted two still images of his ripped physique and evidently remains dedicated to remaining in top shape.

In the caption, he revealed the secrets of his success, writing: ‘1 HOUR session with MY PARTNER IN CRIME ❤️ and a 10kg vest on. WORK HARD, EAT WELL, NO SUGAR!!!’

Henry and Rajacic have been together for 15 years and his other half tends to stay away from the limelight.

The Bosnian used to be a model and her social media is now private, although Henry does occasionally share updates of their life together.

Henry and Rajacic have three children together, Tristan, Tatiana, and Gabby. He also shares a daughter with ex-wife Nicole Merry, his first child who was born in 2005.

At the end of last year, Henry was honoured at SPOTY and his family were on stage with him.

The children announced on stage: ‘The Lifetime Achievement Award goes to… Our dad!’

‘Football has given me everything and I gave it my all,’ Henry then reflected.

‘To be recognised as part of its history with this Lifetime Achievement award and to have made my mark for the fans and my teammates is something I’ll never take for granted.’

Since retiring from playing, Henry has coached youngsters at Arsenal, worked as Belgium’s assistant manager and had short spells in charge of both Monaco and Montreal Impact.

He is now most regularly seen in action as a pundit on CBS alongside Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards and Kate Scott.
