Kash Patel has come under fire again after he wore a pair of custom sneakers during a two-day training session with UFC fighters at Quantico.
The FBI Director sported a pair of black, white and yellow Nike kicks with several references to his personal brand as he put on a rockstar facade to sign his autograph on printed out pictures of his government headshot.
His shoes had the Number 9 – since he is the FBI’s ninth director – as well as a yellow Punisher skull in reference to the Marvel Comics vigilante and his personal logo ‘K$H’ on the side, according to close-up images shared by a ProPublica reporter.
They also show the FBI’s motto ‘Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity’ across the heels with a color scheme matching the rest of Patel’s outfit – a black UFC hat and UFC-FBI hoodie.
Patel isn’t known for being low-key.
He was excoriated on social media for chugging a beer and acting more like a ‘frat bro’ than the FBI Director when he was invited into the locker room after the USA men’s hockey team won Gold at the Milan Winter Olympics earlier this year.
The Director’s bespoke, flashy challenge coins also include tons of personal branding along with a revolver, spiders, a rifle and The Punisher skull imagery.
Notably, the Marvel character is known for operating outside of the law in handing out lethal justice.

US Air Force section chief James Swann posted to his LinkedIn this week an image meeting Patel as he sat at a table and signed his headshot for training attendees during a two-day training session with UFC fighters at FBI headquarters in Quantico, Virginia.
‘Super cool dude, down to earth and didn’t rush anyone away,’ Swann wrote of meeting Patel as he posted an image of himself holding a signed picture of the FBI Director.
Patel was savaged for the latest fashion choice for the event, which he called ‘a tremendous opportunity for our FBI agents to learn and train with some of the greatest athletes on earth.’
‘What adult has a personal logo?’ one questioned of the branding on the kicks.
Former FBI agent Kyle Seraphin, a vocal critic of Trump’s leadership at the bureau, said that Patel is ‘a 19 year old virgin trapped in a 46 year old’ man’s body.
One user posted an image of clown shoes with the caption: ‘He needs to stick to his everyday shoes…’
‘The entire Administration is full of broken, wounded Lost Boys who side with Captain Hook. It’s a cornucopia of brittle insecurity,’ another wrote in response to news of the latest fashion choice.

One user called Patel a ‘damned fool.’
‘Our tax dollars probably paid for those stupid shoes,’ they added.
Another wrote: ‘i know this man signs his emails as kash money patel.’
Many called the scene juvenile, like an X user who said: ‘Of course you got those custom Nikes, you’re twelve.’
‘Wow, custom shoes, his first girlfriend. This has been a big year for K$H,’ one wrote in reference to Patel’s public relationship with country music artist Alexis Wilkins.
