Vance, State Department Blast Two-Tier Justice System in UK, and Labour Is Incensed – HotAir

Labour is very angry at Vice President Vance and Marco Rubio, complaining that the United States is interfering in British politics and slandering the very fine and not-at-all two-tier justice system that lets Pakistanis and Afghans rape young girls without consequence while throwing white British moms into jail for over a year because she was angry at homicidal migrants killing young girls.

Henry Nowak died the same way a civilization dies: abandoned, handcuffed by authorities who neither trusted nor cared for him, and accused of hate crimes he did not commit. His murder is as tragic as it is enraging. He should still be alive today, and he would be if the last few generations of European elites had stood their ground against the politics of self-hatred and the mass invasion of migrants, many of whom despise the West and the people who love it.

Henry was far from the first to so needlessly lose his life, and I fear he won’t be the last. Each time a life like his is lost, the proper response—the only response—is righteous anger. One of the most important things the Trump administration has proven to the world is that stopping the flow of mass migration and defending national sovereignty is a matter of political will and leadership. Anything else is an excuse.

It is because we love the West that we want to preserve it. We love our civilization. We love our country. We love our children. And nobody—nobody—should ever die the way that Henry Nowak died. May God comfort those who loved him, and may God rest his soul.

The State Department was a bit more diplomatic, although the message was largely the same: elites in the UK are betraying their citizens.

It’s hard to argue the point that Vance and the Trump administration are wading into UK politics. They clearly are.

But it’s pretty rich for a government that literally sent 100 Labour Party operatives to the United States to campaign for Kamala Harris to complain that Vance and the administration should butt out of UK politics, especially when all the MPs who are making this complaint spent an awful lot of effort trashing the United States during the George Floyd riots.

Every single Labour Party member complaining bitterly that our administration shouldn’t interfere in their internal politics has self-righteously meddled in US politics—far more than Russia did in the 2016 elections—and is happy to interfere in the internal politics of other countries as well.

I actually don’t find it odd or inherently wrong for countries to do this, and even if I did, it wouldn’t make a difference because every country does it, for obvious reasons: it matters who is in power in other countries, and every government is charged with looking out for the interests of its citizens.

If only the UK government did look out for its citizens, none of this would have happened. Unfortunately, it has a policy of only looking out for noncitizens in the country and suppressing its own.

Two days after Henry died Hampshire Police secretly recorded Digwa in a police van speaking Punjabi to his brother. Digwa admitted stabbing Henry. Discussed claiming self defence. Made zero mention of racial abuse. Not one word.

Hampshire Police had that tape.

They knew Digwa was lying about the racist attack. They had the evidence. They had his own words and then tried to smear Henry as the aggressor anyway.

Three days after his death their statement read “it was reported two men had been assaulted by an unknown man.” Henry was the unknown man. The boy bleeding out on the street. They flipped it.

Family complained. Statement changed. Then police told the family their NEXT update would again infer Henry was the initial aggressor. His family had to fight them a second time. While grieving their murdered son.

Then during the trial Hampshire tried to issue a statement telling the public to stop talking about it online. Calling it disinformation. The CPS had to step in. Told them they were about to collapse their own murder case.

This is the force that handcuffed a dying boy. Missed the murder weapon twice. Had a secret tape proving the killer lied. And still tried to bury Henry’s name.

That’s not incompetence. That’s a machine protecting itself. At the expense of a dead boy’s reputation and three officers are still on active duty. Not suspended. Treated as witnesses. To their own actions.

Hampshire Police didn’t just fail Henry on that street. They kept failing him for six months after he died.

The United States has very deep interests in whether the United Kingdom remains a Western liberal democracy, and Vance’s statement isn’t just one supporting the principle that the UK should return to color-blind policing and defend itself against civilizational decline; it is, also, a shot across the bow to an ally we had a “special relationship” with due to shared cultural values.

Values they no longer share with us, which means our “special relationship” is put into doubt. Rather than complaining that Vance is telling the truth to them, they should take note that we no longer see the UK as in the same ideological orbit. The fact that the State Department echoed that message was meant as a signal that it’s not just the Vice President’s personal opinion being expressed; it is now an official statement of the US government that we see Britain’s civilization as becoming hostile to Western values.

The irony of Britain’s reaction to the George Floyd death and the Nowak murder is that it confirms the claim that it has a two-tier system in place. A multiple felon dies halfway around the world, and the UK political system, and the Labour Party in particular, swing into action, condemning the US and mulling sanctions against us.

When the police help murder a UK citizen, the government and Labour Party get all huffy when people notice, and start throwing white Britons in jail for years because they protested.

British justice. It took only a few days to prosecute and move to sentencing a protester who threw a traffic cone at nobody in the protests for Henry Nowak. It took months to prosecute Nowak’s killer.

I used to see in the UK a fellow member of the liberal democratic community; I no longer do.

I’m glad the Trump administration is telling them off, and speaking directly to the British people, who I believe are still mostly in the same political orbit as we are.

Obviously, we aren’t going to send in Seal Team Six to arrest Keir Starmer or anything drastic. But just as obviously, if things keep going down this path, then any “special relationship” should rightly go out the window.
