Mark co-wrote, produced, and starred in the 2014 horror film Creep alongside Patrick Brice, playing Josef. He not only co-wrote the film but also starred in it. They announced the existence of a Creep sequel in May 2016. Creep 2 was released in October.

Duplass co-starred in the FX comedy television series The League with his wife, Katie Aselton. He created and starred in the HBO series Togetherness in 2015. That same year, he co-starred in David Gelb’s thriller The Lazarus Effect with Evan Peters and Olivia Wilde.
