“Pregnancy and parenthood are the most lovely and life-changing occurrences I have ever encountered.”
She also said after retiring that she wanted to offer her children the best of herself rather than the rest of her.
Elisabeth is a Republican who spoke out on social and political issues while presenting the show. She got into an argument while arguing against the morning-after pill. She also got into a debate with co-host Rosie O’Donnell on the Iraq War, which she thought was justifiable. She spoke at the Republican National Conventions in 2004 and 2008.
Newsmax Magazine named her one of the 25 most powerful Republicans in 2013. Elisabeth, a health fanatic, was diagnosed with Celiac Disease.
