Professional Career

While at the University of Toronto, Lynette Nusbacher got a chance to serve in their administration. Right after graduation, she worked in the position of a logistics officer in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1992 until 2000, when she was hired as a reserve officer at the British Army’s Cabinet Office, working there until 2014. Moreover, Lynette pursued her career as a senior lecturer at The Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, located in Berkshire, England. There she worked as a teacher of war strategies between 1999 and 2013.




During her stint there, Lynette taught Prince Harry. She also served as the principal and senior consultant in war studies at LMC Consultants, and then worked in the Cabinet Office from 2007 to 2010. Between 2006 and 2012, Lynette was a visiting lecturer at the University of Reading, UK. Furthermore, she established Nusbacher Associates, a management consulting company, in 2011, and she has been serving as coach and advocate ever since.

In 2003, Lynette Nusbacher reached fame as a TV personality, when she appeared as a historian in the documentary “National Geographic: Beyond The Movie – The Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King”. This was followed by her appearance as a military strategist and historian in the BBC Two technological game show “Time Commanders” between 2003 and 2016.




She has been also featured in the History Channel’s series “Battlefield Detectives” (2004-2005), the Discovery Channel’s series “Weaponology” (2007), and the BBC documentary television programme “Conspiracies” (2015). Most recently, Lynette appeared in an episode of the Discovery Channel’s documentary series “Mysteries of The Abandoned” in 2019, which reveals former important factories, cities and engineering achievements around the world.

Additionally, Lynette Nusbacher has written several books – her first, “The Battle of Bannockburn 1314”, out came in 2000, while she published her second book, “War And Conflict (Face The Facts)”, in 2002.
