Upon graduation, Markie dived into the moviemaking industry, and in 1976 began her career in the editorial department of the television series “Family Feud”. She then worked as an associate producer on the “Double Dare” TV series, before deciding to continue her career in front of the cameras. Markie Post’s debut on-camera appearance came in 1978, as one of the models in the TV game-show “Card Sharks” before making her debut acting appearance by appearing briefly in the TV comedy movie “Frankie and Annette: The Second Time Around”.
