In 2005, Travis made his acting debut in the drama film “Loverboy”, directed by Kevin Bacon and also featuring Travis’ mother and sister, in a story focusing on Emily played by Kyra Sedgwick in hopes of trying to have a child, then tackling her raising her child and the challenges she encounters due to her attachment to the boy.
While Travis only had a few acting projects afterwards, the family would collaborate once more in the television movie “Story of a Girl”, the directorial debut of Kyra Sedgwick and based on a 2007 novel of the same name, which follows the life of troubled teen Deanna Lambert who becomes a victim of social exile and branding.
Music Work
Aside from his acting work, Bacon has focused a lot on music, and eventually became a member of the rock punk funk band called Idiot Box, while also starting to work as the head engineer of the New York company Broken Box Recording.
