Who is Adalynn Ruiz ?
The daughter of the longtime teacher who was gunned down in the Robb Elementary School massacre in Texas said her mother died heroically shielding her fourth-grade students from a barrage of bullets.
Eva Mireles’ daughter, Adalynn Ruiz, posted an emotional tribute on Facebook, saying that her 44-year-old mother de ella“selflessly jumped in front of her students to save their lives de ella. ”

Another relative of Mireles’ speaking to the New York Times also said that the veteran educator died “trying to protect her students from her” from the shooter.
The teacher’s cousin, Amber Ybarra, 34, told the “Today” show she was not surprised to hear that, declaring: “She is a hero.”
“She was adventurous. … She is definitely going to be very missed,” said Ybarra, of San Antonio.
Ruiz, the slain teacher’s daughter, addressed her in an impassioned post Wednesday, calling her “the half that makes me whole” and her de ella “twin de ella.”
“I want to sing karaoke with you and hear you sing ‘shine bright like diamond!’ In your loudest voice,” she wrote. “I want you to come back to me mom. I miss you more than words can explain. My beautiful mom, thank you for the funniest memories. Thank you for the best times of my life.”

Ruiz added: “You are so known by many now and I’m so happy that people know your name and that beautiful face of yours and they know what a hero looks like.”
Lydia Martinez Delgado, Mireles’ aunt, told KSAT-TV that she was “furious” over the shooting, saying: “These children are innocent. Rifles should not be easily available to all. This is my hometown a small community of less than 20,000. I never imagined this would happen to especially to loved ones.”

The teacher’s cousin, Amber Ybarra, 34, told the “Today” show that she was not surprised to hear that, declaring, “She is a hero.”
“She was adventurous. … We are definitely going to miss her a lot,” said Ybarra, of San Antonio.
