She already shares nine-year-old son Angelo with ex-husband Simon Konecki.

But Adele, 34, revealed on Sunday that she would ‘defiantly like a couple more kids’ with her beau Rich Paul, 40.

The Easy On Me hitmaker who went public with her new romance in July last year, divorced CEO Simon in 2019.

Speaking on BBC Radio Four’s Deseret Island Discs the star said: ‘I would definitely love a couple more kids’.

The star, who has known Rich Paul for many years, added:  ‘It would be wonderful. If not, I’ve got Angelo.’

Adele married her former husband in 2018 after six years of dating before separating months after their son was born.

She said: ‘It was never really tricky because we’re such good friends and over my dead body is my kid having a messy divorce in his life.’

Before adding: ‘There are no issues and there were no issues, so I guess it was easier to make sure that didn’t happen, but I was blessed with them, and him, [Simon] he’s just the best, you know. And I definitely approached it all with grace and that really paid off.’

Later in the interview the songstress once again defended her decision to cancel her Las Vegas shows just 24 hours before she was set to hit the stage at Caesar’s Palace.

Adele explained how she ‘felt everyone’s disappointment’ as she announced the cancellation and was left ‘devastated’ herself.

She said: ‘I definitely felt everyone’s disappointment, and I was devastated, and I was frightened about letting them down,’

Speaking to host Lauren Laverne, the Grammy Award winner added: ‘I thought I could pull it together and make it work, and I couldn’t, and I stand by that decision.’

The Hello singer went onto explain that the show was simply not ‘good enough’ to put on and that money had no fact in the decision.

‘I’m not going to just do a show because I have to, or because people are going to be let down, or because we’re going to lose loads of money.’

The songstress also revealed that she was mercilessly criticized for her decision after canceling the shows in late January.

Adele admitted: ‘I was a shell of a person for a couple of months. I just had to wait it out and just grieve it, I guess, just grieve the shows and get over the guilt, but it was brutal.’

The star doesn’t want to cause more ‘disappointment’ therefore made the decision not to take to social media to constantly update fans.

She said: ”Of course, I could be someone on TikTok or Instagram Live every day being like, ‘I’m working on it.”

‘Of course, I’m working on it! I’m not gonna update you if I ain’t got nothing to update you with because that just leads to more disappointment.’

Adele released her fourth album in November last year and while speaking on the Graham Norton Show in February following the cancelled shows in sin city said the residency ‘is absolutely 100% happening this year’.

She told Graham on the BBC One programme: ‘It has to happen this year because I’ve got plans for next year. Imagine if I have to cancel because I am having a baby!’

On Friday, Adele performed for a public audience for the first time in five years at the British Summer Time Hyde Park concert.

She explained to the 65,000-strong crowd how she is ‘mortified’ that she failed her fans and the last thing she wanted was to ‘let people down’.

The singer said: ‘I know that a lot of things have happened with this album and I’m sure a lot of you feel that you’ve been let down and stuff, which is mortifying really and upsetting to me.

‘But I take my singing very seriously and the last thing I would ever want to do is let people down but I had to do that, it just wasn’t right.’
