The fighter tried to aid a group he thought had been involved in a car accident. He later determined that the group was merely drunk, and a fight between the group broke out shortly after. The famous fighter assisted in calming down the Fight’s participants but was allegedly mistaken for someone else and arrested by police. The police allegedly believed he was the individual that started the Fight.
Ortega asserted that the person who started the altercation had already left the area. He was only slightly irritated by the fact that they continued to huddle, talk, and flashlights at him while continuing to do so while also talking and talking. After some time, they unlocked the door and let him leave.
Similarly, another police report was filed against Ortega for allegedly slapping rapper Jay Park at UFC on March 8, 2020. He was arrested and charged at this time also.
