A serial dog poo thrower has infuriated neighbours in their apartment complex who have had enough of their filthy habit.

One resident of the Unison complex on Longland St, in the Brisbane suburb of Newstead was so incensed by the foul practice, he warned the thrower he would be getting them soon.

The Brisbane local took to a local community group on Facebook to caution them they were hunting for their apartment.

‘Whomever is routinely throwing dog poo from their “Unison” balcony to the footpath below on 12 Longland Street, Newstead, your behaviour is absolutely appalling,’ he wrote.

‘I’ve seen it fall before, today.. you got me.

‘When I find out who you are, expect similar treatment, understandably.’

The Brisbane man also had some neighbourly advice for the dog owner: ‘Use your designated refuse area, or put your pet up for adoption, you cretin.’

Local councillor Kim Marx condemned the pet owner’s lack of care for fellow residents.

‘These allegations are disgusting and Brisbane City Council is more than happy to work with the body corporate of this residential building to hold this person accountable and pursue them for littering,’ she told the Courier Mail.

‘We all need to be responsible pet owners and do our part to keep our city clean, green and sustainable.’

In Brisbane, failing to pick up and correctly dispose of your animal’s droppings in public is punishable by a fine of $287.

The latest dog poo battle in Queensland follows another in December, when a woman dumped dog droppings  and boiling water over a car left legally parked outside her home after a bizarre dispute turned ugly.

Car owner Natalie Mayers returned to her vehicle to find the roof plastered with animal faeces while parked in the street in Toowoomba.

And as she was walking up the road, she claimed she saw the homeowner pour scalding boiling water over her car’s paintwork.

The resident admitted the attack when the owner confronted her – but insisted she was justified because the driver had ignored her home-made no parking sign.

The hand-written placard told drivers not to park outside her home and leaving their car there when they go to work, despite it being a legal parking zone.
