Gemma Owen is plotting on moving into her own love pad when she leaves the Love Island Villa, Mail Online can reveal.
The teenager currently lives with soccer dad Michael, mum Louise and her brothers and sisters in a luxury pad in north Wales.
But pals of the 19-year-old say she was house hunting before entering the show and that her time in the ITV show will have heightened her desire to fly the nest.

Protective dad Michael needn’t worry too much though as we can reveal she’s most keen on a place in Chester, where dad already owns an apartment and where she regularly parties.
A source said: ‘Gemma will continue house-hunting when she leaves the show but there’s no chance of her moving a guy in. She wants to spend a bit of time on her own first before she makes that step.
‘Gemma is fiercely independent and also has plans to travel and promote her clothing line when Love Island finishes.’
Gemma lives with dad, retired soccer star Michael Owen, mum Louise and her three siblings in North Wales.

Her family’s enormous country house is in a village, which couldn’t be more far removed from the glitz of the Love Island villa.
Pals say hardly anyone in the village watches the show – which means Gemma can expect to be treated exactly the same when she returns.
Our source added: “[It’s] is a very quiet place where a lot of the villagers are retired. Most of the people living there prefer Countryfile to Love Island. But that’s one of the reasons Gemma and her family love it so much there.”

As well as a blossoming career in TV and as an influencer, Gemma is also a talented equestrian rider and regularly takes part in events.
Her dad Michael, who played for Liverpool, Real Madrid and Newcastle in a glittering career, also has a number of business interests including in horse-racing and property development.
According to reports earlier month producers are apparently keen to sign Gemma up for an At Home With The Owen’s style programme.

As we revealed in June, before entering the Villa, Gemma, 19, got her business affairs in order by setting up a new media company – and made mum Louise a co-director.
It comes after Gemma told Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu’ to ‘keep her f*****g nose out’ of her business and accused the Turkish actress of spreading rumours about her coupling with Luca, in Monday’s episode.
Ekin-Su, 27, had told Paige Thorne and Jacques O’Neill that she’d heard Gemma, 19, tell Dami Hope that her head could be turned from Luca Bish, who she is coupled up with.
Michael Owen’s daughter fumed at her fellow stars for Ekin-Su’s ‘d***head behaviour’, before confronting her face-to-face, saying: ‘Maybe you should keep your nose out of other people’s business and shut up.’
The revelation caused Luca to admit to Gemma that he wants a future with her but thinks they’re ‘on different pages’ in a tense conversation, which saw him question whether they should remain together.
Clearing things up in a confessional, she said: ‘If someone comes in who is 100% my type, who I get on with better than Luca and am more attracted to, then I’ll get to know them. Do I think that’s likely? No.’
Keeping her cool, Ekin-Su told the camera: ‘Why is it me again? How is everything coming to me? Dami has an opinion. This is Dami’s quote, not me. I’ve done nothing wrong but its so easy to blame me in here, isn’t it?’

Setting the record straight to Luca himself, Gemma pulled him aside to say: ‘You’ve probably heard most of it anyway. Dami was reading everyone’s mind.
‘He said if someone came in that was 100% for me and that I had better chemistry with than you then I’d be open to getting to know him.
‘I didn’t say any of it, Dami was doing the speaking, I just didn’t disagree and said, “Whatever,” at the end.
Earlier on Dami had attempted to ‘read’ Gemma’s mind, telling her: ‘You’re happy with Luca right now. I feel like it would take a lot for your head to turn but there is a small chance that it probably could if someone really came in that was 100% you.

‘I feel like that is where the confusion would probably come for you because we’re not here to play games. I feel like you’re still open in a sense, probably more open than Luca.’
Gemma confessed: ‘Yeah, that was quite impressive. I don’t think you’re that far wrong.’
When Ekin-Su overheard and told her fellow Islanders, Gemma approached her saying: ‘You have started this, you’ve made drama over nothing! You had no right to say that and knew that was going to cause s***.’
Later, Luca admitted to Gemma that he wants a future with her but ‘doesn’t want to get hurt’ in a tense conversation, which saw him question whether they should remain together.

He told her: ‘My head wouldn’t turn so I feel I am more into you than me. We’re on different pages. I want a future with you, I’m obsessed with you. I don’t want to get hurt and I don’t give a s**t who walks through the door.’
Gemma replied: ‘Ok and my head’s with you but I don’t want to say 100% there won’t be someone I have a better connection with because I don’t know that.’
When he started talking, she abruptly said: ‘Let me speak. You might as well ask me to be your f*****g girlfriend.’
He was finally able to say, ‘Until today, I couldn’t be happier with you.’
In the diary room, Gemma said, ‘I think tonight was a tiny little bit frosty. You’ve said, “We’re ok,” but it’s still a little bit weird.’
