Liberty Poole has revealed she’s ditched the sunbeds after a skin cancer scare.
The former Love Island contestant, 22, told The Sun on Sunday how she sought medical advice after developing a mole after using the artificial tanning device.
Speaking to the publication she said: ‘I used to go on sunbeds, but then when I came out of Love Island I had this weird mole pop up on my tummy, so I went to the doctor and got the mole checked out.

‘I was worried it could be cancer. He doesn’t think it’s cancerous, but says it’s best I get it removed in case it turns into something.
‘Now I don’t think it’s worth the risk and I use fake tan instead, it can be quite dangerous.’
It comes after she and Kaz Kamwi , 27, spoke out after they were both threatened and held at knifepoint during their holiday earlier this month.

Liberty told the outlet: ‘It was flight or fight, we were so lucky there were bystanders nearby who helped us to get away.
‘I’m still trying to process what actually happened.
‘It made me realise that life is short and you have to make the most of it.’
Liberty and Kaz were left terrified when a 40-year-old woman targeted them as they headed to a party, prompting two men to jump to their defence and apprehend the attacker while passersby called the police.

And the television personalities took to Liberty’s Instagram Stories earlier this month to thank their followers for their kind words of support, with Kaz saying: ‘We just wanted to jump on really quickly and say thank you for all the messages we have received.
‘We’re leaving LA now, our cab’s downstairs to go to the airport.’
Liberty interjected: ‘Obviously it was a scary incident that happened Thursday but we didn’t want it to affect the rest of our holiday so we’ve just been continuing on as normal and living our best lives.
‘Obviously it’s horrible that, that happened but we’re all OK and that is the main thing, that we’re safe.’
Kaz added: ‘We just wanted to say thank you.’
The incident was understood to have occurred when pals Liberty and Kaz got out of their car in the ‘wrong part of the neighbourhood’.
‘Out of the blue, this woman appeared with a knife and threatened them,’ a source told The Sun.

Liberty and Kaz were obviously shocked and terrified — especially because guns are legal in the US.
‘But fortunately for them, two men who had been walking past came to their rescue and called the police.’
MailOnline contacted Liberty and Kaz’s representatives for comment at the time.
The pair jetted off to LA last month and have been documenting their trip as they enjoyed the sunshine, sightseeing and the music festival Coachella.
