Hollywood legend Michael Douglas wished his Oscar-winning wife a happy 22nd wedding anniversary on Friday.
The Basic Instinct actor posted two loving photos from their splashy wedding held at the Plaza hotel in New York City in 2000.
‘Happy Anniversary to my darling Catherine! I love you so much @catherinezetajones ❤️ #22years,’ he wrote in the caption.

Michael, 78, was born in 1944 while Catherine, 53, was born in 1969.
‘We met in 1996 at the Deauville Film Festival…I think it was 1996!’ Zeta-Jones told Larry King in 2001.

Douglas was promoting A Perfect Murder and Zeta-Jones was promoting The Mask of Zorro.
Their friends Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith – who used to be married – introduced the actors at a private dinner.

Douglas proposed to Zeta-Jones at his Aspen home on New Year’s Eve in 1999 with a $1 million diamond ring.

The tasty dessert featured a prominent 25 which honoured the date of their birthday – September 25 – not the couple’s 25 year age gap.
The happy couple both blew out their candles before taking to Instagram to memorialize the day.
In the snap Catherine looked gorgeous in an asymmetrical blue gown embellished with a white floral design.
Accessorizing with gold jewelry the Oscar winner tied her luscious brunette locks into a bun.
Meanwhile Michael donned a lavender shirt which he wore with smart trousers as he slicked his grey hair back.
The couple beamed as they celebrated with the huge dessert before sharing a sweet kiss.
Taking to Instagram Welsh actress Catherine wrote: ‘And that was our birthday! Thank you for all your greetings. And Maria Fiennes for these lovely pics. Let the New Year begin!’.
While Michael added: ‘Thank you all for the kind birthday messages, we love you all’.
While Catherine gushed: ‘So much fun sharing my birthday with you’.
It comes after the couple took to social media earlier in the day to publicly wish one another a happy birthday.
